Linzy CO # 1
Today I observed Dr. Rios' level 4 reading class. The students had read an academic article and then had a class discussion over it. I learned that it is important to let the students try to find the answer on their own before helping them. I also learned how to keep the discussion going and that one good tool of evaluation is having each student prepare a question for discussion.

I agree that having each student prepare a question for discussion is quite helpful! It encourages them to be creative and to speak up if they are usually shy in class.
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement with this also. It seems like a very good idea. One that I am inclined to borrow from in the future.
