Adrianna CO#2

This past Wednesday (the 30th), I observed a Group 1A Speaking class taught by Ryan Fleming.  Professor Fleming began the class with a few homework announcements, and then taught from a powerpoint. He focused on one activity the entire class time, and I think that it was definitely skill level appropriate. The students were asked to guess the professor's "secret place" by looking at various images in the powerpoint and listening to him speak about the place. Then, they were asked a few true or false questions to evaluate the information that they had interpreted. I like this activity because of it's use of visual aids paired with auditory information. Considering the difficulty of teaching students of such a beginner skill level, Professor Fleming did a good job at answering the students questions, and speaking both slowly, and clearly.
