On Tuesday, October 29, I had the pleasure of meeting Abdullah Bahmed. We met at an off-campus Starbuck's coffee shop at 7:30pm. For this initial meeting, we began with an immediate rapport between the two of us. In fact, we planned to only spend an hour for the session. However, we were so engrossed in our conversation, that when we looked at the time, we were surprised to discover that we'd talked well beyond an hour and a half. Abdullah, shared with me many fascinating details about himself. Although, I had not realized prior to our meeting that day, he had given a presentation on the foods of his country in his speaking class. He graciously, presented it to me as an audience of one. He was able to speak thoughtfully during our conversation.
