For this session, Khalid and I read through a research paper of his. While reading it, I pointed out errors and helped him correct them and understand why they were incorrect. He needed help with rewording some of the sentences and replacing certain vocabulary words with ones that made more sense in the context of his paper. He expressed to me his frustration with overusing certain vocabulary words, so I showed him thesaurus.com to help him find synonyms of words to incorporate in his paper. I told him that thesaurus.com is a website trusted by many students including myself, and that he should use it in the future.
