Tutoring Session #14
In this session, Cassie said I could make up a lesson for her based on things that I believe she could improve on. I chose to focus on phrasal verbs because I noticed that she often did not understand what I meant when I used them. I think this is a very important thing for an EFL student to learn because the verbs are commonly used in conversation with native speakers. Some of the phrasal verbs we covered were look up to, turn down, hit on, come along, break up, bring about, and throw away. She found this very useful and took the visual aid with her to practice.
