TS #6 Kelsey

Tutoring Session #6

For this tutoring session, Cassie asked me to help her with an email to her professors. She will start her program at FSU in the Spring, but wants to stay in Taiwan for an extra week in order to be able to vote. She explained to me how important the vote is, and that staying to vote would mean a lot to her. Then we started to construct the email. She wrote it and then we edited it together. Her draft was fairly goo, but there were a few grammar mistakes. Mainly using the future tense, she was mixing up how to talk about something that would conditionally happen in the future. So, I explained to her how to express this and she took notes. Once the email was done, we sent it to all of her professors. This was a good lesson in, not only grammar, but formal email writing.
