Adrianna TS#16
For this tutoring session, Khalid and I worked on his pronunciation and reading skills. I had brought a couple of Architectural Digest magazines from my house to use during our session. I had him read some of the articles aloud, and if he made a pronunciation mistake I would correct him and write down the word(s) he mispronounced to then review once he was done reading. After completing the readings, we talked about popular architectural styles in the US compared to those of Saudi Arabia. He finds certain houses in Tallahassee quite strange and unappealing compared to what he is used to in Saudi Arabia. This was an opinion that did not surprise me, since my conversation partner Eda also said the same about the architecture in Tallahassee.
