For this tutoring session, I prepared a vocabulary lesson for Khalid. Together, we chose 2 different articles online that seemed to have somewhat challenging vocabulary in them. I had him read the articles aloud, and he would point out words or phrases that were confusing to him and I took note. Then, once he was finished reading both articles, we reviewed the vocabulary and phrases. I had him write down the words and their definitions to aid his learning process. Khalid enjoyed this lesson so I agreed to make a similar lesson for our next session. He also said that he wanted to focus more on pronunciation for the next lesson, and I took that into account.
